Elementary Financial Education alignment to FEPPP Library books.  Amy Kliewer, Elementary Program Supervisor for FEPPP will deliver zoom PD.  Librarians will be given a collection of barcoded libary books with personal finance and economic themes, including titles available in Spanish, to discuss with students and have available for teacher and student check out with printed resource behind cover. The online library links will be shared to click on a book cover to access resource guide of video read alouds, discussion guides,  and low prep lessons to make financial education fun! Financial education provides students real-world applications for SEL skills like decision-making, optimistic thinking, and the ability to see themselves as capable – all integral to developing the confidence necessary to take control of their financial futures.
