How can we create an empowering and engaging learning experience for our students while they are learning from home? Join the ESD 112 PBL team as we dive into foundational project-based learning for the virtual learning environment! Participants will learn about the components of PBL and experience how the framework of PBL can create a purposeful and equitable learning space for all students in the virtual classroom. You will use a variety of tools to create a unit that focuses around content standards while leveraging students’ funds of knowledge and interests outside the walls of the classroom. 

We encourage you to attend with other teammates in your building to create a multi-disciplinary project which makes learning purposeful and connected in multiple content areas for your students in the Winter/Spring. 

 Structure of course:

• There will be only one live/synchronous 2-hour session on November 30th. 
• All other activities and content will be explored asynchronously by participants at their own leisure. 
• 2 office hour sessions will be offered to participants who would like support from the facilitators.  

 One administrator may attend free for every three teachers who register.
