This series of classes is designed to introduce participants to explicit literacy practices for meeting the needs of students with dyslexia and other word-level reading difficulties.  Each offering is a separate class.  Participants may pick which ones they want or can attend or all seven.  Topics covered will be: the role of decoding, phonological awareness, and orthographic mapping in reading fluently for comprehension and motivation.
