Target Audience: grades 6-12

 

Learning Crosscutting Concept #3: Scale, Proportion, and Quantity is a  workshop from ISB’s ClimeTime series, Teachers Inspiring Science Students -- CCCs in action to learn climate science.


Please register as a team of teachers: recruit colleagues from a whole department, a whole district cadre of a specific science course, PLC, or other collaborative team. 


6-hour online workshop:

(a) 4 STEM Clock Hours offered for synchronous work

Two 2-hr workshops, a week apart, focus on classroom implementation of an OER resource to weave the 3 Dimensions of science learning into any district's core science unit or project, with emphasis on CCC-3 Scale, Proportion, and Quantity.

(b) $100 honorarium for completion of implementation report

2-hr asynchronous time for classroom implementation and gathering evidence of student learning, with office hours for coaching.
