Through an increased understanding of brain development, educators are empowered to support students’ regulation and cognitive engagement. In this session, we’ll take a closer look at the research related to regulation, specifically applying our neural lens to the topics of dysregulation, co-regulation, and self-regulation. We’ll shift from theory into practice as we share classroom practices that support brain development and empower educators and students to co-create learning spaces that unlock the full potential of all learners.

The session will include multiple research-based resources and include time for participant reflection, revised thinking, and report out sharing of new understandings.
