Description
The Washington Industrial Technology Education Association (WITEA) Virtual Spring Conference is designed to bring innovative and relevant information to teachers in the areas of Science, Technoloy, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and Skilled and Technical Sciences (STS) areas of Career and Technical Education (CTE). Through the use of recorded sessions from our 2025 WITEA Spring Conference and hosting these items on our WITEA.net website, teachers will access their personalized training sessions shared via a registered link provided by our web-master starting March 17th through April 4, 2025. Session attendance and shall be documented by site access links and documents and signatures shared with the conference coordinator. The conference sessions are created for teachers by teachers and bring invaluable best practices from industry and the CTE classroom allowing teachers to expand their knowledge. The joining of 21st century skills, industry competencies, practical training procedures and hands-on learning activities makes this event an excellent way to learn what’s working in classrooms across the state. Many of these sessions are designed to be taken back to the classroom and implemented the next day. By sharing the great things we are doing in our classrooms, we upgrade classrooms and teachers across Washington and prove working together we will become stronger and better teachers. (A maximum of 15 clock hours may be earned through the virtual system.)
