Description
Mentoring ESAs focuses on mentoring School Counselors, Psychologists, Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Audiologists, Librarians, and other Education Staff Associates with role-specific and general mentoring lenses.
Note:
BEST promotes a learning progression that is coherent to mentors. Mentor Academy 101 or Nakia Academy are foundational learning experiences with essential flow and connections for our Extended Learning. Mentors may experience gaps in learning and knowledge building if they did not complete a foundational learning before the extended learning. It is recommended that mentors take Mentor Academy 101 or Nakia Academy before they take any Extended Learning.
Event Notes
1. Prerequisite for this academy is prior attendance of Mentor Academy 101.
2. BEST’s on-line events are interactive trainings, not webinars. We ask participants to use video when possible so that others can see and interact with them. It is possible to call in and join without video, if necessary. In all cases, participants are asked to participate in all activities via audio.
3. With limited academy offerings, BEST would like to ensure the learning quality for mentors in Washington. Once registered, please plan to attend all day of the training. If you aren't able to attend fully, BEST suggest you choose another session.
