This event is for DAY 2 ONLY. For Day 2, participants may claim up to 6 leadership clock hours and up to 2 equity clock hours, not to exceed 6 hours total.

Participants will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the CEL 5D Instructional Framework & 5D+ Rubric for Instructional Growth and Teacher Evaluation. By the end of this stage, participants will:

• Understand the state context, expectations, implementation timeline
• Understand how the structure and vocabulary of the CEL 5D Instructional Framework & 5D+ Rubric for Instructional Growth and Teacher Evaluation supports the Washington criteria for teacher evaluation
• Understand the role of multiple sources of evidence in observation, feedback and goal setting

Intended Audience: Principals, Assistant Principals, and central office staff who evaluate teachers under the TPEP evaluation system.

Participants may claim up to 6 leadership clock hours and up to 2 equity clock hours (not to exceed the total hours of the training series). Equity clock hours are aligned to CCDEI Standards 1a (Understanding Self), 1c (Responsiveness), 3b (Collaboration), 4c (Advocacy).

For all instructional frameworks, the stage 1 & 2 training aligns to the following PSEL standards: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.

Participants will be sent the Zoom connection information and other resources one week prior to the first day of this event.
