The Content Integration Leadership Network is a yearlong professional learning and leadership development experience for elementary educators and leaders, offered in two semester-based parts. Part 1 and Part 2 are designed to build upon one another as participants prepare for shifts in Washington State standards for English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science.

Across both parts, participants will build a shared understanding of what students are expected to know and do while strengthening instructional leadership, coherence, and equitable classroom practice across content areas. Participants will also explore selected Building Thinking Classrooms practices as a shared instructional approach for increasing student thinking, discussion, collaboration, and problem solving across disciplines.

The network is designed to help elementary educators and leaders move from awareness toward implementation with clarity and purpose. By connecting standards, research, instructional practice, Building Thinking Classrooms strategies, and leadership moves, participants will be better prepared to support coherent and equitable learning experiences for all students.
