This AWSP Leadership Framework Training meets the state requirement for anyone who is new to supervising a principal or assistant principal.  

This 12-hour training will take place over two days.  Each day will be a mix of synchronous learning (Zoom) and asynchronous learning on the AWSP Learning Management System. 

This training will have school leader supervisors diving deep into the eight Criteria of the AWSP Leadership Framework.  Participants will understand the AWSP Leadership Framework has been designed as a resource for the ongoing GROWTH and evaluation of a school leader. More specifically, the framework has been carefully crafted to be used by supervisors and school leaders together as they develop a robust observation and evaluation system focused on the growth of the school leader.  

Training will focus on the areas of equity, inclusion and belonging that are woven throughout the framework. 

Participants will have 1 week after day #2 to complete the asynchronous work.  You will receive a certificate of completion from AWSP that must be sent to erin.balch@esd105.org in order for your hours to be validated.

Coursework due no later than Wednesday November 12, 2025.

Participants will be required to complete 3 hours of asynchronous work for this day.  The final day to submit completed coursework is Wednesday November 12, 2025.  Certificates of Completion must be emailed to Erin Balch at erin.balch@esd105.org so your clock hours can be verified.
