Description
In this course, educational leaders will learn how to use classroom observations as a powerful tool to strengthen both the psychological and professional capacity of staff, ultimately fostering more inclusive learning environments. While the strategies can support various educational initiatives, the course specifically focuses on increasing meaningful inclusion for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as Black students with disabilities. Data from Washington State highlights that these two groups are among the most frequently excluded from general education settings. As part of OSPI's Inclusionary Practices Technical Assistance Network (IPTN), this course is one of many resources designed to help educators drive meaningful change and create more equitable learning opportunities for students with disabilites.
