Description
The Coding Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) in Pre-K IEPs is a self-paced asynchronous foundational course that seeks to provide participants a deep understanding of accurately coding LRE for students aged 3-5 years old. This course seeks to improve improve equitable access for marginalized students by building the understanding of representatives- teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians- making programming, placement, and services delivery decisions for students ages 3-5 receiving special education services. Lack of access to inclusive high-quality early childhood learning experiences with integrated SEL infrastructures for children with disabilities contributes to opportunity gaps in social-emotional development as these students enter kindergarten.
