Are you curious about bringing more technology into your classroom? This course is part of ESD 105’s Ed Tech "Getting Acquainted” series intended to help educators explore a variety of tools, bots, and devices that support Educational Technology, Computer Science, STEM, and STEAM topics.
Courses in this series are suitable for teachers of all grade levels, subject areas, and levels of teaching experience and introduce practical, approachable resources for use in classroom or school and family events.
This course will help participants become acquainted with the Sphero BOLT, a versatile, app-enabled robot that offers a hands-on approach to teaching programming, engineering, and robotics. Through block-based and JavaScript coding options, Sphero BOLT engages students in interactive learning experiences that promote creativity and collaboration. At the end of the course, you'll identify an idea you could incorporate into your classroom to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and STEM skills.
(A Sphero BOLT is not needed to complete this course.)
