Are you curious about AI tools and how they can support your role as an educator? This course is part of "ESD 105’s Ed Tech: Getting Acquainted” series, designed to help educators explore emerging tools that enhance teaching, learning, and instructional efficiency. Designed for educators across all grade levels and experience levels, this course offers practical strategies you can apply right away.
Through a series of short introductions in this course, you'll become acquainted with several AI-powered tools and platforms that support instructional planning, creativity, and productivity. You’ll explore how these tools can help you generate standards-aligned lessons, activities, and resources, then identify a best-fit tool or platform to try beyond the course. Join this course to see firsthand how these AI platforms and tools can support your work as an educator! After reviewing key features of the AI tools, you’ll identify meaningful ways to integrate at least one into your work to support student success and instructional efficiency.
(Participants will not need to create accounts for the AI tools or platforms. If participants wish to experiment with the AI tools introduced, they may use free accounts. AI tools introduced in this course may include: MagicSchool, SchoolAI, Diffit, Brisk, Poe, ChatGPT, ColleagueAI, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, and others.)
