Description
Join us for a collaborative and engaging session designed for Grades 6–12 math and science teachers! This session will focus on integrating data science into your instruction while addressing real-world problems in mathematics and science. Participants gain an understanding of the new data science standards in the revised Washington K–12 math standards, develop capacity to integrate Data Science standards into their math and science instruction, and explore real-world connections to math content and science phenomena.
Together, we will dive into real-world datasets, investigate interdisciplinary lessons, and build the foundational skills needed to bring data science to life in your classroom. Let’s explore how data science can inspire curiosity and critical thinking in your students!
