Description
Join us for a dynamic, hands-on professional learning summit designed to help educators meaningfully integrate artificial intelligence into today’s classrooms. This engaging experience supports PreK–12 educators, instructional coaches, and leaders, with intentional inclusivity for elementary teachers. Participants will move beyond theory to explore practical, responsible, and instructionally sound uses of AI—centered on real classroom needs, student engagement, and district expectations.
Through interactive sessions led by SchoolAI partners and education leaders, attendees will gain both strategic and classroom-ready insights into how AI can enhance teaching, learning, and student support.
Focus
Practical, hands-on exploration of SchoolAI tools for teaching and learning
Tool-agnostic strategies grounded in pedagogy, instructional design, and classroom practice
Responsible and ethical AI use, including student safety, data privacy, and governance
Understanding how SchoolAI aligns with district policy, instructional goals, and other AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Copilot)
Real-world examples of how districts in Washington and beyond are implementing AI to improve student outcomes
Objectives / Outcomes
Participants will:
Identify current AI trends and policy considerations impacting K–12 education
Understand how SchoolAI supports teacher planning, student engagement, and district-level goals
Explore best practices for managing AI-enhanced classroom environments responsibly
Engage in hands-on creation of SchoolAI Spaces and instructional activities
Leave with at least one ready-to-use lesson or learning activity that can be implemented immediately
