This training is designed for experienced educators who have been teaching sexual health education and have attended prior trainings on creating a safe climate for teaching sensitive topics, navigating values in the sex ed classroom, and answering sensitive questions. It is also understood that people attending this training have a basic level of understanding of reproductive justice, examining educator bias, and teaching sex ed with a trauma-informed lens.  

This training event is intended to support school district staff in meeting legislative requirements for comprehensive sexual health education as described in RCW 28A.300.475, and sex trafficking awareness and prevention education as described in RCW 28A.320.168.
