Aligned with the Washington Professional Learning Standards for Sex Education, participants learn foundational skills and knowledge necessary to teach Comprehensive Sexual Health Education effectively. The training includes a focus on practical skills for classroom implementation through small group discussion and activities. 

This training event is intended to support school district staff in meeting legislative requirements for comprehensive sexual health education as described in RCW 28A.300.475, and sex trafficking awareness and prevention education as described in RCW 28A.320.168.
