Description
Youth Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based training that teaches adults how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health or substance use challenges in youth ages 12–18. Using the ALGEE action plan, participants learn risk factors and warning signs, strategies for offering initial help, and how to connect young people to appropriate professional, peer, and self-help resources.
