Paraeducator Fundamental Course of Study: FCS03 Technology Basics

This 2 hour professional learning opportunity will prepare paraeducators within their district to understand and use technology effectively for communication and instruction.  This course covers 2 of the required 28 units of study hours that align with the FCS learning objectives.

Audience: K-12 instructional paraeducators

Program Objectives:

• Describe basic technology available in schools and classrooms for instructional support   

• Describe basic use of productivity software curriculum specific software, and internet resources 

• Demonstrate basic use of software programs to send/check email, organize schedules on a calendar, complete internet searches to assist students during projects/assignments
