Description
Please join us for another opportunity to explore exciting ways to use children's Picture Books in teaching elementary science. This is newly developed Part 2 to the original online workshop we offered back in November 2024. In this course participants will discover multiple categories of science & STEM related picture books and consider intentional ways to use picture books to support powerful science & STEM student learning. A diverse set of picture books will be modeled and used in the sessions in multiple ways.
Participants will have a brief asynchronous implementation task between the two sessions.
