Description

This training provides educators and school staff with essential knowledge and skills to safely and legally manage situations where restraint or isolation may become necessary.

Emphasizing prevention first, the training ensures that these practices are only used as a last resort to protect the safety of students and staff. 

An overview of the legal, social, and health context for the current restraint/isolation policies and procedures. 

How adult behavior influences student behavior and systemic approaches to improving conditions for learning. 

Restorative, trauma-informed, collaborative approaches to foster positive relationships and improve school culture.
