Description
In this full day in-person session, you and your co-planning partner/team member will continue the co-planning process of working together to plan for an upcoming lesson or unit sequence with integrating the WIDA ELD Standards and strategically embedded scaffolds to enhance the academic success of multilingual learners.
Designed for returning co-planning partnerships/teams such as: MLL Teacher + Content/Gen Ed Teacher -OR- MLL Teacher + Content/Gen Ed Teacher + Paraeducator.
Content for the session is based on the books: Co-Planning: Five Essential Practices to Integrate Curriculum and Instruction for English Learners, authored by Andrea Honigsfeld and Maria G. Dove and Unlocking Multilingual Learners' Potential authored by S. Fenner, S. Snyder and M. Gregoire-Smith.
Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided.
