Description

Through virtual and hands-on investigation, participating teachers will deepen their understanding of the archaeological, paleontological and geological history of the region, and how the methods used at the Wenas Creek Dig Site, can be utilized to bring earth science and STEM education into the classroom.

To be prepared for the 1-Day Onsite Class at the actual dig site, there is a prerequisite that you will

complete the following six lessons prior to the camp. There are 6 lessons and each lesson includes a

lesson plan, slide presentation, video(s), quiz, and a reflection sheet. Total online course work will equal 7 clock hours with an emphasis of 7 STEM hours.
