This three-hour training will provide you with tools and practice to respond to students' questions related to sex and sex ed.

Event Notes

This training event is intended to support school district staff in meeting legislative requirements for comprehensive sexual health education as described in RCW 28A.300.475, and sex trafficking awareness and prevention education as described in RCW 28A.320.168.


Prior to the training

Select at least three questions from the list below to practice answering during the session. 

Sample Practice Questions:

  1. How late can someone start their period?
  2. Why do I get boners at random times?
  3. Is it OK for girls to masturbate?
  4. Is it important to get married before having sex?
  5. What kind of birth control do you use?
  6. Is it OK for teens to have sex?
  7. Does pre-cum have sperm in it?

  9. What do you do if your friend is sexually active (without protection) and you’re worried about them?
  10. Why do people have sex with horses?
  11. What’s the worst STD? (The most serious?)
  12. How safe is using a condom?
  13. How do you know when you’re ready to have sex?
  14. What is rimming?
  15. My friend’s boyfriend hits her sometimes. Is that OK?
  16. Is it OK to have multiple partners?
