Description
Human trafficking and exploitation prevention has evolved significantly in recent years, with growing attention to digital safety, trauma-informed teaching, and the importance of developmentally appropriate conversations in the classroom. In this interactive three-hour virtual instructor-led training, participants will build foundational knowledge about trafficking, exploitation, and grooming, and gain practical tools to integrate prevention content into existing curriculum. Educators will explore evidence-based strategies for supporting safe, inclusive learning environments and practice skill-building techniques for responding to student questions and disclosures. This training will assist educators in providing required instruction on sex trafficking.
Event Notes
This training is intended for educators and school district staff who provide or support classroom instruction in sexual health education and/or sex trafficking awareness and prevention.
