Course Description: 

This professional learning series engages K-12 educators in collaborative exploration of AI literacy concepts essential for student success in an increasingly AI-integrated society. Through hands-on investigation and professional dialogue, participants examine what it means to be AI-literate. 


Session 1: Exploring AI Literacy: What Do Our Students Need to Know
🚀   Co-define a clear AI literacy definition
🚀   Draft a brief portrait of an AI-literate graduate for their grade band
🚀   Practice verification strategies using a structured protocol with sample AI-generated content


Session 2: Translating Understanding into Practice: Building Student AI Literacy
🚀    Design one authentic learning experience that engages students in a real-world AI literacy application
🚀   Design a mini-lesson and a three-level prompt ladder with student reflection and assessment


Event Notes

PLEASE NOTE: The registration fee for this course is $20.00. Once the course has been completed and verified by the instructor, you must pay the clock-hour fee of $3.00 per clock hour and the administration fee. Claiming three clock hours plus a $5.00 administration fee, and registration of $20.00 is $31.00 total. Clock-hour verification for this training takes approximately two weeks.
