Substance Use Response Training for School Counselors is a focused, two-hour professional learning session designed to strengthen school-based responses to student substance use. Participants will review best practices in SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment) and explore effective referral pathways and community partnerships. The training emphasizes and also includes trauma-informed principles and promoting student well-being while maintaining accountability and compliance with school procedures.
