The PSESD 121 Learning & Teaching Network brings together instructional leaders from across the Puget Sound region to learn with and from one another in service of more equitable, coherent, and impactful teaching and learning systems.

March 20 Meeting Focus: In partnership with the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), join this L&T Network convening for an overview of Washington’s standards revision process and the context behind these updates. 

Guest speakers from OSPI will share the “why” driving the revisions, and PSESD Content Leads will highlight early insights into proposed phases of implementation and key shifts across content areas as standards are released. This session will also explore how the revisions create opportunities to strengthen high-quality core instruction in mathematics, English language arts, and science while moving beyond traditional content silos toward more integrated approaches to learning and teaching. PSESD Content Leads will share how we aim to support districts through future professional learning and collaboration aligned to the revised standards.
