Description
This professional development training, hosted in partnership with the Spokane Tribe, Educational Service District 101, and Whitworth University provides hands-on implementation training for the John McCoy (lulilaš) Since Time Immemorial: Tribal Sovereignty in Washington State (JMLSTI) curriculum. Participants will engage in grade-level specific tracks elementary, middle school, high school, and administrative led by certified JMLSTI Train-the-Trainer Specialists and ONE staff, with tribal partners centering Indigenous knowledge and place-based perspectives throughout. Attendees will leave with practical, immediately applicable instructional materials and implementation plans grounded in the sovereignty, history, culture, and treaty rights of Washington State's federally recognized tribes.
