Description

Join North Central ESD’s instructional technology and special education team for a flexible, podcast-based professional learning experience. Each session of the SpEd-Splaining Podcast Study Series invites educators to:

Listen – Stream or download the featured episode of SpEd Splaining on any major podcast platform (Apple, Spotify, Google, etc.).

Reflect & Discuss – Log into the accompanying Canvas course (self-paced within the event window) to engage with guiding questions, curated resources, and a facilitated discussion board.

Apply – Capture key takeaways and next steps in a brief reflection activity designed to translate insights into classroom, building, or district practice.

Whether you’re a seasoned special educator or a general-education teacher seeking to strengthen inclusive practices, this asynchronous format lets you learn when it fits your schedule while still connecting with a regional community of practitioners. Expect thoughtful conversation around real-world SpEd scenarios, legal considerations, and practical strategies for supporting diverse learners.
