Description

This professional development workshop introduces educators to using Minecraft in K–12 classrooms as a tool for engaging, creative learning. Participants will explore how Minecraft can support collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking across subject areas. Through hands-on activities, educators will learn how to design standards-aligned lessons that incorporate building challenges, simulations, and storytelling. The session will also address classroom management, assessment strategies, and digital citizenship within a game-based environment. By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped with practical strategies to integrate Minecraft into their teaching to enhance student engagement and deepen learning outcomes.
