Description
This professional development workshop introduces educators to using immersed games in K–12 classrooms to enhance student engagement and learning. Participants will explore how immersive game environments support inquiry, collaboration, and critical thinking across content areas. Through interactive experiences, educators will learn how to design standards-aligned lessons that leverage storytelling, role-play, and problem-solving within immersive games. The session will also address classroom management, assessment strategies, and ensuring inclusive, equitable participation. By the end of the workshop, participants will have practical tools and strategies to effectively integrate immersed games into their instruction to create meaningful, student-centered learning experiences.
