This training explores the critical role that positive adult-student relationships play in healing trauma and supporting student success. Participants will learn foundational brain science, trauma impacts, and practical strategies to create safe, supportive, and engaging learning environments. The session emphasizes the importance of adult self-regulation, social-emotional learning, and restorative practices in fostering resilience and improving behavior and academic outcomes. Educators will gain insight into trauma-informed approaches aligned with Washington State standards and legal requirements.
