This AWSP Leadership Framework Training meets the state requirement for anyone who is new to supervising a principal or assistant principal.  This 12-hour training will take place over two days.  Each day will be a mix of synchronous learning (zoom) and asynchronous learning on the AWSP Learning Lab. This training will have school leader supervisors diving deep into the eight Criteria of the AWSP Leadership Framework.  Participants will understand the AWSP Leadership Framework has been designed as a resource for the ongoing GROWTH and evaluation of a school leader.  More specifically, the framework has been carefully crafted to be used by supervisors and school leaders together as they develop a robust observation and evaluation system focused on the growth of the school leader. Training will focus on the areas of equity, inclusion and belonging that are woven throughout the framework.  Participants will have 1 week after Session #2 to complete the asynchronous work.

Audience: Principals, Assistant Principals, Superintendents or Central Office staff who evaluate administrators using the Leadership Framework

This course aligns to the Leadership Framework and the PSEL standards.

A total of 12 Educational Leadership Clock Hours (6 clock hours for each day to include asynchronous learning on the AWSP Learning Lab).
