This training series from ESD 113 is designed to support individuals and school teams in understanding and effectively completing the Child Outcomes Summary (COS) process within early childhood special education programs. 

Grounded in procedural compliance, the course also weaves in best practice strategies to move beyond a checkbox approach — helping teams use the COS process as a meaningful tool to strengthen collaboration, deepen understanding of developmental progressions, and inform intervention planning. 

The series covers two core modules: a foundational overview of the COS process and a focused look at completing Entry and Exit ratings.
