Stage 1

Participants will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Danielson Framework for Teaching by exploring its foundations and learning about each of the four Domains. 

Learning Goals:

• Develop and apply the skills associated with a growth-focused evaluation process o Objective: Administrators/Teachers will identify how instructional frameworks explicitly support teacher growth in culturally responsive and equitable teaching practices. 

• Recognize the potential impact of identity and bias in the observation process. o Objective: Administrators will recognize how identity, implicit bias, and evaluator subjectivity can influence classroom observation, and will apply strategies to reduce bias in evidence collection, interpretation, and feedback.

To be considered fully trained, administrators need to participate in ALL SIX sessions

Teachers in need of the Teacher Overview only need to attend Session 1.
