This training reviews the federal McKinney-Vento Act, its provisions, definitions, and the duties of the district McKinney-Vento Liaison. Students and families experiencing homelessness have unique barriers that impact their education. Through this training, participants will learn how to better remove these barriers and provide and connect more support to students and families experiencing homelessness. This training is offered every year, and it is suggested all liaisons participate.
