Description

What Is It?

The Washington Statewide EdTech & Teaching and Learning Cohort is a quarterly, cross-regional collaborative that brings together district leaders to strengthen instructional practices and educational technology across the state.

It creates a consistent, practitioner-informed space where educators and leaders can share insights, align efforts, and support statewide priorities.

Why It Matters

Washington schools are navigating rapid changes in technology, instruction, and policy. This cohort ensures that:

  • Local voices inform statewide decisions

  • Districts are aligned with state initiatives and guidance

  • Best practices are shared across regions

  • Efforts are coordinated—reducing duplication and increasing impact

Ultimately, the cohort supports a more equitable, coherent, and sustainable statewide approach to teaching, learning, and technology.

  • Share regional successes, challenges, and emerging needs

  • Identify common patterns and effective practices
