Each third Wednesday (September through May, with a break in December), directors gather for a morning session built around a timely topic — from special education funding and paraeducator strategies to assistive technology, secondary transition pathways, legislative priorities, and MTSS/Tier 1 supports. Sessions run 9:00–11:30 a.m. and open with OSPI updates from Jennifer Story and TaRessa Saunders, then move into the day's featured topic, led by Dana Floyd, Alexa Ranger, or guest presenters.

A catered networking lunch follows at 11:30, giving directors informal time to connect across districts. Afternoon Problem of Practice sessions (12:30–2:30) are director-driven: attendees submit topics through the Directors Meeting Padlet, and the afternoon conversation is built around what's actually coming up in their buildings.

Each morning session carries 3 Education Leadership clock hours, so a director attending the full series can earn up to 24 clock hours over the year.

The 2026-27 meetings will be offered in a hybrid format for OSPI staff and those who cannot attend in person. Afternoon sessions will be provided in a hybrid format as needed.
