Description
This seven-part professional learning series prepares educators and student-support professionals to guide students and families through the complete financial aid process—from understanding financial aid and completing the FAFSA to reviewing aid offers, considering student loans, and preparing for college expenses. Participants will build practical knowledge of financial aid terminology, FAFSA requirements, parent and student contributor responsibilities, verification procedures, college costs, federal student loans, and summer enrollment tasks.
Each live Zoom session combines instruction, guided examples, student scenarios, and practical tools that participants can use when advising students and families. The series emphasizes accurate, equitable, and student-centered support designed to reduce financial aid barriers and help students make informed decisions about college affordability and enrollment.
