Description

Inclusionary Practices Project Leadership Teams will begin by completing the WestEd LRE Self-Assessment as a baseline to their inclusionary practices work this year along with updating their five year action plans. In the following sessions, building teams will unpack UDL lesson design with tools, scaffolds, and exemplars to start building universally designed lesson plans and units that honor student variability and break down barriers to learning. We will explore how to expand student engagement by being clear about our goals and standards, design accessible learning materials and methods, and finally, assess learner progress in authentic and meaningful ways.
