Curious about bringing more technology into your classroom? This course is part of ESD 105’s “Ed Tech: Getting Acquainted” series, designed to help educators explore a variety of tools, bots, and devices that support Educational Technology and Computer Science topics.
This course is suitable for all grade levels, for all levels of experience in teaching Educational Technology, Computer Science, STEM, or STEAM, Participants will gain practical knowledge and approachable ways to introduce the concepts into their classrooms. Planning a school or family event focused on technology? This session will also offer guidance and resources to help you design engaging tech experiences for students and their families.
This course will help you become acquainted with the Edison robot, an educational robot. Review the available tutorials, teaching resources, and student activities to learn about the programming options of barcodes, block coding, Scratch-based, and Python. At the end of the course, you'll identify an idea you could incorporate into your classroom.
