This online Canvas course is designed to meet the objectives of the Fundamental Course of Study (FCS) for Paraprofessionals module 01 - Introduction to Cultural Identity and Diversity.

Participants will engage in online discussions, readings and videos to meet the requirements of this module.

Once a participant registers for the class - they will receive a SEPARATE invitation from Instructure where they will sign into Canvas to start the work for this Event.  The invite may take a few days to arrive.  

Participants may register anytime from September 1, 2025 - December 8, 2025. 

This course ENDS December 30, 2025. All work must be turned in and completed by this date.

Attendance validation will happen throughout the term, but final validation will happen after the Event ends on December 30, 2025

Required training for Paraprofessionals. As of January 1, 2025, a valid credit card will be required to complete your registration.

Please be sure to look for an email from Instructure inviting you to register into Canvas to proceed to the platform where your work will be performed.
