This online Canvas course is designed to meet the objectives of the Fundamental Course of Study (FCS) for Paraprofessionals module 07 - Behavior management strategies, including de-escalation techniques.

Participants will engage in online discussions, readings and videos to meet the requirements of this module.

Once a participant registers for the class - they will receive a SEPARATE invitation from Instructure where they will sign-in to Canvas to start the work for this Event.  The invite may take a few days to arrive.  

Participants may register anytime from January 1, 2026 - May 31, 2026. 

This course ENDS June 15, 2026. All work must be turned in and completed by this date.

Attendance validation will happen throughout the term, but final validation will happen after the Event ends on June 15, 2026.

 Required training for Paraprofessionals. A purchase order number for the registration fee is required AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION.
