Description
This is a training for providers who are interested in learning about fun physical activities for young children. Light refreshments will be served (participants are welcome to bring dinner from home).
Diane H. Craft, Ph.D., Professor Emerita, Physical Education Department, SUNY, Cortland. She has co-authored four books on developmentally appropriate, inclusive physical activity for young children including "Active Play! Fun Physical Activities for Young Children". In addition, Dr. Craft has given over 265 highly-acclaimed presentations, workshops and keynotes on preschool physical activities to audiences across the nation. She is currently consulting with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as the subject matter expert on Early Childhood Physical Activity.
