Description

This training, presented Dr. Katy Bateman, BCBA-D, Research Scientist and Project Director at the University of Washington Haring Center for Inclusive Education, will explore current practices in the implementation of online parent coaching for challenging behaviors at home. The focus is for early childhood staff working with families around behavior support. This training will equip participants with behavioral strategies targeted at increasing the quality of life for families with children with challenging behavior at home. This training will focus on decreasing engagement in challenging behavior through the implementation of preventative, antecedent strategies, and appropriate replacement behaviors. We will also discuss factors affecting the consistent implementation of strategies at home, ensuring the strong contextual fit of intervention.

This training will take place via zoom, the zoom link will be emailed to participants. Clock hours are not available for this training.
