This training will model effective teaching practices as participants interact in-depth with current research regarding not only the writing of, but also the use learning targets to improve student performance and classroom management.   Participants will write, share and analyze their own learning targets in order to develop a deeper understanding of both learning target design and use. Participants will actively engage with current educational research through a modeling of effective teaching practices that align and support Criterion 1, 4, 6
