Description

If you’re an elementary school teacher who wants to feel more comfortable teaching and doing mathematics, this mini workshop is for you.  My goal is to help you feel more confident in your mathematical abilities so that you know how to help students feel more confident in theirs too.

We'll begin by exploring both what it means to be “good at math” and how we help people see that they’re good at math too.  Then we'll talk about how to build more confidence in the math we teach as well as how to help people see that they’re using math everywhere.  From there we'll discuss how to ask questions to help students see that math is creative and conclude by planning out how we continue this growth.
