ELL Critical Data Review Training and Collaboration for School Teams

ELL Critical Data Review Training and Collaboration for School Teams

Tue, June 6 2023 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Presenters

  • Efthia Triol
  • Jeanne-Marie Wright

Description

This session is structured as a workshop model to follow up on previous trainings of the ELL Critical Data Review process. It is highly recommended that school and/or district teams attend together to cultivate a shared plan and decision making model. In this session, attendees will review the critical data points, and time will be provided for collaborative teaming to discuss how data will be collected and how the team will support the process. Connections to Washington State MTSS and the current Washington State Dyslexia Guidance for Multilingual Learners will be reviewed to help make connections with the sheltered strategies that are being used to support language acquisition.

Event Notes

This course will be held in-person; there will not be a virtual attendance option. Please plan accordingly and bring your copy of the ELL Critical Data Process, if you have one.

This session needs to have a minimum of 25 participants to be held. We are encouraging school and/or district teams to attend. It is recommended to have participated in a previous Critical Data Process training. If you are new and have not participated in a training we recommend purchasing and reviewing the book ELL Critical Data Process

If you are a small school and do not have a team, please let us know and we will be prepared to seat you with another school or district.
